Subtle details include horse-hair leather panels, saddle stitch and stirrup motifs, diamonds and multi-faceted crystals in the handles of the finest hand-crafted furniture. The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur features a curated private Art Collection, with special commissions of epic proportions, including a monumental horse sculpture by Fernando Botero, leather murals by Mark Evans depicting a powerful Polo charge, and a three-dimensional Birds and Butterflies by Barnaby Hosking, inspired by the leafy enclaves of the Lake Gardens and its Bird and Butterfly Parks.
To achieve simple is not as easy as it seems. One of our highlight of this project is the Deluxe Guestroom. Our design team work closely with our production line In producing the right baby blue colour for the deluxe guestroom. Knowing the a plain blue colour be so sweet is not an easy task. We develop numerous time on the colour variation of baby blue colour in order to bring out the exact colour require by the designer. The secret behind this is by mixing four very similar baby blue color, each less then 1% difference to avoid the watermark effect, or shadow effects created by a single colour carpet. By doing this, we able to have the best proportion of the carpet even by looking from any angle. In addition, another specialties we did which is our Axminster with Viscose. The flower design we produce using viscose yarn which have some shining effect by reflecting light when there is light source towards the yarn. Thus, by doing this, we able to bring out more luxury feel yet simple design then an ordinary carpet to the St. Regis Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
