After closing its doors seven years ago, the former Equatorial Hotel Kuala Lumpur is reborn as EQ, a towering 52-storey gem of luxury in the heart of the city. The new hotel sports a modern and sophisticated look that is reflected in each of its 440 guest rooms and suites, and has numerous venue options for events, conferences and conference meetings alike. One of the highlights is the impressive two-tier Diamond Ballroom, inspired by world-famous opera halls – the perfect venue for both grand weddings and corporate events. Guests will be spoiled for choice when it comes to food, whether it’s Japanese fine dining at Kampachi, pastries at contemporary street café Étoile, or local favourites at all-day dining restaurant Nipah. Unwind and rejuvenate in Sanctum, the luxurious spa and wellness centre, or try out other recreational facilities such as the swimming pool and fitness centre.

"Working hand to hand with Blu Water Studio Designer is been a wonderful time. We go thru the design inted which is quite some time back and come out with more modernist design but on the other hand, maintains its heritage. Heavily influence by Malayisan culture and arts, the design is have some touch of local taste which can found thoughout the hotel. A thanks for the designer take part in the project and gone thru the hard time but delivering a master piece"
